Zum Rahmenprogramm zählt alles, was es neben den Festival-Inszenierungen an Möglichkeiten gibt, um mehr über die Stücke, die Regisseur*innen und deren Arbeit zu erfahren, um miteinander ins Gespräch zu kommen oder um einfach zu feiern. Neben der Festivaleröffnung am 2. November um 18.30 Uhr und der Preisverleihung am 5. November um 22.15 Uhr im Kleinen Haus des Staatsschauspiels Dresden, gibt es Kurzeinführungen vor den Vorstellungen, Künstler*innen-Gespräche an der Aftershow-Bar, Partys im Festivalzentrum und Street Karaoke zum Mitmachen. In Zusammenarbeit mit der European Theatre Convention ETC findet außerdem erstmals das Fast Forward Festival-Forum statt!
In addition to the festival productions, the supporting programme includes all the options there are to help you learn more about the plays, the directors and their work, to get talking to each other or simply to celebrate. Apart from the festival opening on the 2nd of November at 18.30 and the award ceremony on the 5th of November at 22.15 in the Kleines Haus of the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, there will also be short introductions before the shows, artists’ talks at the after-show bar, parties in the festival centre and street karaoke to join in. In collaboration with the European Theatre Convention ETC, the Fast Forward Festival Forum will take place for the first time!

Wir zeigen alle Inszenierungen mit deutschen und englischen Übertiteln oder wie auf den Stückseiten angegeben. Festivaleröffnung und -abschluss werden simultan ins Deutsche bzw. Englische gedolmetscht.

In diesem Jahr machen wir die Foyer-Bar im Kleinen Haus zum Treffpunkt für alle, die Lust haben, ins Gespräch zu kommen. Ob Sie konkrete Fragen haben oder einfach gern in Gesellschaft ein Getränk nehmen möchten: Jeden Abend im Anschluss an die letzte Vorstellung können Sie Künstler*innen des Festivals und das Festivalteam an der Bar treffen, erzählen, was Sie erlebt haben, wissen oder diskutieren möchten. Auch wenn es ein bisschen später wird, weil Sie von einer anderen Spielstätte erst ins Kleine Haus kommen – bis Mitternacht sind wir immer da!
This year, we’re making the foyer bar in the Kleines Haus the place to meet for everyone who feels like getting into conversation. Whether you have specific questions or just want to have a drink in good company: every evening after the last show, you can meet the festival artists and team at the bar, tell us about what you experienced, or ask about what you want to know or discuss. Even if it’s a bit late because it takes you a while to get to the Kleines Haus from another venue – we’ll be there every night till midnight!

Kommt mit auf die Straße, um mit unserer mobilen Karaoke-Anlage Liebeslieder zu singen. Wir starten im Hole of Fame und bewegen uns durch die Neustadt in Richtung Kleines Haus. Für jedes Lied finden wir eine neue Wand, auf die wir projizieren. Wer ein Lied singt, darf entscheiden, wohin die Gruppe als nächstes geht. Danke an den Künstler und Spiele-Designer Sebastian Quack, der dieses Format für das Essener Next Level Festival 2022 und das Now Play This Festival 2023 in London entwickelt hat.

Join us when we take to the streets to sing love songs with our mobile karaoke system. We’ll start at the Hole of Fame and move on through the Neustadt towards the Kleines Haus, finding a new wall to project onto for each song. If you sing a song, you get to decide where the group goes next. Thanks to the artist and game designer Sebastian Quack, who developed this format for the Essen Next Level Festival 2022 and the Now Play This Festival 2023 in London.
